Level 2 (Advanced Point-of-care Ultrasound Course)

Why take our course:

Learn to harness the power of ultrasound to enhance your assessment of patients.

We limit our group sizes so you can benefit from lots of hands on scanning practice on subjects with demonstrable pathology. We also provide state of the art ultrasound machines, and our course offers more of an EM focus than other similar courses. Some experience is recommended but formal Level 1 sign off not required.

Our faculty include:

  • Professor Bob Jarman (Ultrasound God, Emergency Medicine, Newcastle)
  • Dr Doris Eis (Ultrasound Guru, Emergency Medicine, Zurich)
  • Dr Anna Colclough (Echo Master, Emergency Medicine, London)
  • Dr Michael Trauer (Ultrasound Fanatic, Emergency Medicine, London)
  • Ms Johanna Thompson (Experienced Sonographer, UK)

What we cover during the course:

Our two day programme includes a mix of short lectures and plenty of hands on scanning practice in the following areas:

  • A full morning of Echo scanning
  • Lung
  • Shock
  • DVT
  • Hepatobiliary
  • Renal

Fee: £575 inc vat for 2 day course

‘Had a cracking time at this informative and innovative US course, with excellent and engaging speakers and ample practical probe to skin time. Highly recommended and I for one am reaping the clinical benefits in my ED.’
