Dr Gabin Mbanjumucyo

Gabin Mbanjumucyo is an emergency medicine doctor from Rwanda, currently working in one of the UK’s busiest A&Es. He holds a fellowship in point-of-care ultrasound. His ultrasound skills were mostly based in low resources settings, where there is minimal radiology expertise and infrastructure, and bedside ultrasound was used to make life-saving decisions and interventions. He has done research on ultrasound, mainly in the application of ultrasound in diagnosis of tropical diseases. He hopes to advance studies in ultrasound and find new uses for it.
