Why do I need a course to prepare for the MRCEM Primary exam?

The MRCEM Primary exam may at first seem like an easy challenge. However, according to RCEM statistics from previous years, only about 60% of candidates succeed in the exam. The exam is especially difficult for those students who were trained outside the UK.

How can I pass the MRCEM Primary exam?

Some think a question bank with thousands of questions covering random topics is a good way. Although this may seem like a reasonable way to practice, this option quickly becomes overwhelming and time-consuming. You may spend countless hours answering random questions with no guarantee that you will get a clear and structured picture of how to actually pass the exam.

What is the Structure of the Course?

Our courses are offered both in-class and live-streamed online. Both options allow you to ask questions live and interact with other candidates and the lecturer.

You will receive two practice papers in advance of the course that should be completed before attending. We will then discuss all these questions over the first few hours of the course.

From there we will move on to two other papers, which will be taken under exam conditions to give you the experience of sitting this kind of exam paper. This is then followed by immediate discussions and clarifications of the answers.

You will also have free access to our online video webinars, which go into each area of the MRCEM Primary exam in much more detail. These can be viewed through our mobile app or our website. Your access continues until after the exam and will provide you with well-structured and well-illustrated explanations.

Bromley Emergency Courses are one of the best sources for the MRCEM exams. They not only improve your chance to pass the exams but also help you to become a better doctor. Very concise, lots of the points they talk about came in the actual exam, I find them to be one of the best sources which helped me prepare for the EM exams, their courses are very well planned and balanced, the material discussed in the course is exactly what you need to pass your exams and what you use in everyday life in the ED. I cannot recommend them enough..
