Description
The course is designed to provide surgeons with basic core knowledge and skills in ultrasound use. It will also cover relevant surgical applications, including:
- Abdominal ultrasound – appendix, aorta, gallbladder, liver and free fluid
- Urology – renal tract imaging
- MSK – soft tissue infection, injury, fractures and dislocations
- Ultrasound guided procedures – vascular access, ultrasound assisted drainage
