About the exam

The FRCEM Final SAQ exam just got harder! You now have 60 SAQ structured answer questions to answer in 3 hours, covering everything in the RCEM Emergency Medicine training curriculum, but focusing on presentations and procedures encountered during higher specialist training.

What We Offer

Building on our now successfully established FRCEM Intermediate SAQ course, we have launched a new two day FRCEM Final SAQ exam preparation course in 2017. The course won’t try to teach you everything in the RCEM curriculum in two days, but it will round out your knowledge of the less commonly encountered and more difficult topics (for example anaesthetics, paediatric procedures, dental emergencies and pre-hospital medicine). You will sit 6 20 question practice Final SAQ papers under exam conditions all of which will be answered and explained in interactive paper review sessions.

The course will be led by Ian Stell, Director of Bromley Emergency Courses, with a faculty of Senior EM Consultants all with FRCEM under their belt.

Due to Covid we will be limiting the numbers of people attending our course in person. We will be offering the course live streamed for both dates. Bookings for the live streamed course are now open. You can make your attendance option on the product page.
