Ambulatory Care from the Emergency Department

The aim of this event is to provide an overview of the principles of ambulatory care and clinical conditions that lend themselves to ambulation from the Emergency Department. After the event the attendee will have a framework to enable them to develop ambulatory care services from their department with some examples of best practice and clinical updates.

Public health and emergency medicine: a case of opposites attract or more in common?

This event will allow delegates to gain a better understanding of the role of Public Health in Emergency Care, appreciate how local community factors can influence emergency department service development, integration and delivery, and allow them to begin a process of practical reflection and participation in emergency department based activities relevant to emergency medicine and public health.
